Free food and support for Louisiana families

WIC helps people who are pregnant, raising a baby, or caring for a child under 5. Louisiana sends millions of WIC dollars back unused every year. This free guide helps you get what you qualify for.

Do I qualify for WIC in Louisiana?

If you have SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF, you already meet WIC's income rules.

You still need to be pregnant, a new parent, breastfeeding, or caring for a child under 5, and live in Louisiana. A clinic confirms the rest.

Who WIC is for

You may qualify if all of these are true:

  • You are pregnant, recently had a baby, are breastfeeding, or care for a child under age 5.
  • You live in Louisiana.
  • Your household income is at or below the limit below or you already get SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF.
